Shanghai Tang may have been booted from its Pedder Street location, but the luxury retailer of contemporary Chinese chic has done one better by finding not just its new home, but a four-floor mansion, just a few steps away from its original location on Duddell Street, Central.

The grand opening on 26 April 2012 was attended by Shanghai Tang brand ambassadors Hu Bing and Lin Chiling as well as Hong Kong's top personalities including SEVVA founder Bonnie Gokson and celebrity models Jennifer Tse, Amanda Strang, Cara G and Lynn Xiong.

The party continued late into the night on the top floor with DJ Janva on the decks.
