Renowned German luxury jeweller, Wellendorff, has opened its first standalone boutique in Asia at the ifc mall in Hong Kong. Established in 1893 by Ernst Alexander Wellendorff, the 4th generation family-run business began by making jewelry for European royalty and rose to fame with its gold rope necklace and coloured spinning rings.
Wellendorff rings incorporate precious stones and diamonds into a unique design that rotates in the middle. Representing timeless beauty and lasting value, each piece is signed with the company's diamond studded "W" logo.

One of the most popular items from Wellendorff are their limited edition 'rings of the year'. Coincidentally, the first was called Hong Kong and appeared in 1997 to mark the UK’s handing over of the former British Colony to China.
Now, another Limited Edition Hong Kong ring has been created to commemorate the brand’s first standalone boutique in Asia. Designed and manufactured in Germany, the ring is crafted with 18-karat white or yellow gold with 8 lotus blossoms finely engraved and embedded in red Wellendorff enamel. Symbolizing purity and enlightenment, the Lotus rings exude a sense of endless grace and femininity.

Only 28 limited edition Hong Kong rings are available for purchase at HK$118,000 (white gold) and HK$108,000 (yellow gold).
