Fashion, music, and art collided with cutting-edge denim last Tuesday (21 February 2012) at the grand opening of G-Star RAW's new flagship store at Leighton Centre, Causeway Bay. At 680 square metres (7,319 square feet) split over two levels, this was G-Star's second Hong Kong location and largest store worldwide.
The event kicked off with a breathtaking opening ceremony with stunt men and women running down the façade of the building, followed by a traditional Chinese lion dance. The party continued inside with an acoustic performance by Grammy nominated American singer-songwriter Skylar Grey and a pop-up show of G-Star's collections.
The event drew an impressive list of guests including Cantopop 'Heavenly King' Aaron Kwok, Hong Kong sweetheart Angelababy and fashion icon Hilary Tsui. They were joined by Australian actress Gracie Otto, Australian model Alexandra Agoston, Hong Kong musicians Paul Wong and Jun Kung, top models Ana R and Alice B, celebrity makeup artist Rick Chin and many more.
