To celebrate the inauguration of the third Maison in Hong Kong after Paris and New York, Van Cleef & Arpels has created a new High Jewellery collection for this occasion -- the Ballerina Dancer set in the form of a necklace and a clip, as well as a Ballerina Dancer decor timepiece.
Suspended from a double ribbon of white gold and diamonds, the ballerina is delicate, graceful and made with Van Cleef & Arpels' Mystery Setting technique that was patented in 1933.
The setting spins a gossamer web of rose gold into which each stone finds its place, which can only be done by selecting each stone according to size before determining its position on the clip.
