Ride the White Horse

No, not that white horse.
 
What we are talking about is the sleek new collection of Porsche Design, the White Collection, featuring all the things the modern man needs packaged in uber-cool aluminum, titanium and stainless steel.
 
Functional, tech-savvy and luxury products for men is Porsche Design's specialty, and this collection is a blindingly stark contrast to their usual black look.
 
"The typical color of Porsche Design is black," explains Roland Heiler, Managing Director of Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria. "The color white, on the other hand, stands for purity and also has the property that it highlights the shape of the product. These characteristics also make white an excellent medium for our minimalist design language."
 
And these days, white are just as versatile as any other colour – exuding confidence, sleekness and youth. Some of the cool items in the collection include the mobile phone, in a combination of aluminum and black, has already been singled out for a number of awards, and is available in a variant of aluminum and white. It’s got a fingerprint sensor, and milled out of a solid aluminum block.
 
There’s a pen that has an innovative Shake technology: just a flick of the wrist and the lead comes and the pen is ready for use.
 
The men's collection includes the sporting jacket, with a lining featuring the typical Porsche Design stripes. Porsche Design’s sunglasses collection is always anticipated, and this collection has a pair with an unusual combination of white plastic applications and classic titanium.
 
We love the clean lines of the leather goods collection, with the matt gleam of the trolley case's aluminum handles and the briefcase's hand-brushed fastenings. A laptop and document case, wallet and a cowhide credit card case are also available.
 
Use the white collection lighter with its patented nozzle safe for use in stormy weather, they key ring or money clip, or don stainless steel cufflinks with inlays of white precious stones. A bracelet of woven calf leather with an elegant magnetic catch is also among the jewellery on offer.
