Panerai Radiomir Black Seal 3 Days Automatic

First Radiomir case with P.9000 automatic calibre
You can see the Radiomir Black Seal 3 Day Automatic's P.9000 oscillating weight through the back.

Panerai’s newest watch to hit stores in Hong Kong has been announced. The Radiomir Black Seal 3 Days Automatic is also the first Panerai watch that combines both the in-house manufactured P.9000 automatic calibre with a Radiomir case.

As usual, the Radiomir case is gorgeous. It’s made from polished steel, and 45 millimetres in diameter with a black dial. The watch-face design follows Panerai’s standard aesthetic, with large figures at the cardinal points and linear markers to define the hours and minutes in between.

There’s also a small seconds dial positioned at nine o’clock and the date is fixed opposite at three o’clock. Turn the watch over, and you’ll be able to see the P.9000’s oscillating weight through the sapphire crystal.

The front of the Radiomir Black Seal 3 Days Automatic is typical of Panerai's design tastes.

The movement of the Radiomir Black Seal 3 Days Automatic generates 28,800 vibrations an hour. Both the time and date functions are connected to the movement, and setting the time can be done easily and quickly without affecting the running of the watch. The finishing touch to the watch is the black alligator strap that can be easily removed for replacing.

The Panerai Radiomir Black Seal 3 Days Automatic is priced at HK$58,400.
