Like Cocomojo, the girls from Hong Kong's Chinese International School (CIS) are out in the fashion world to get us. HANALIE is another brilliant example of what happens when passion meets ambition. A mix of the founder's two names, Haylie and Natalie, HANALIE hosted a stylish yet cozy fashion show in Volar on 21 December 2010 to launch their S/S Pre-Collection 2011.
Friends since the 7th grade, Haylie Lee and Natalie Chan were known for their unique outfits and natural fashion sense before deciding to join forces and set up their own fashion brand. The result is an effortless chic, easy-to-wear collection that is simple yet timeless.
The crowd at VOLAR was impeccably dressed and obviously fashion-savvy, with many familiar faces there to support Haylie and Natalie.

Before long, the fashion show kicked off as slender models with fierce attitudes paraded down the catwalk.

The highlight of the night was definitely the limited crossover pieces with fashionistas Sabrina Ho, Eleanor Lam, Josie Ho, Claudine Ying, and renowned fashion blogger Cindy Ko. The pieces were sold on the spot, with all proceeds going to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
My personal favourite was their crossover with Eleanor Lam. I knew I was in love when I saw the lovely lace cut-out on the waist.

I also loved the eye-catching Lindsay, with a smooth blend of grey and red.

From one CIS girl to another, you are doing such a great job! I can't wait to get my hands on your collection!
