While we're never short of new places to drink and party in Hong Kong, the Cafe Deco group have just opened a sophisticated bar and lounge to keep Hong Kong's nightlife scene thriving.
The buzz: Located on Wyndham street, PULP aims to establish itself amongst the very best of Hong Kong's nightlife. With its two floors and outdoor patio, it meets the mark by offering another al fresco waterhole for those who wish to escape the bustling crowds of Lan Kwai Fong and Soho.
Hoping to draw in more of the trendy fashion-forward crowds, PULP will host a weekly fashion night on Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm. There will also be a free-flow Champagne deal every Friday priced at HK$388 per person from 5pm-8pm.
The look: Go up to the first floor for chilled, relaxed drinks in U-shaped booths and wander out into the outside drinking and smoking area.
The ground floor frenzy of bold vibrant colours contrast with the more laid-back dark blue couches that line the room. After midnight the ground floor transforms into the main dancing area where their resident DJs play the latest beats and tracks.
PR speak: "Designed to impress through its décor, music, cocktails and parties, PULP sets the gold standard in Hong Kong's pulsating nightlife. Be it a small, medium or large gathering, Pulp surely brings an unforgettable night out."
Food and drink: Aside from the usual selection of champagnes, fine wines, spirits, beers and ale, must-try signature cocktails include the Pulped fruit diaquiri (rum, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries), the Chelsea cobbler (gin, dry sherry, pineapple, orange and maraschnio) and the crème brulee (rum, frangelico, cacao, cream, ice cream and Baileys) all priced at HK$88.
To satisfy your late-night cravings, their kitchen opens until midnight serving snacks such as braised beef meatballs, Thai shrimp cakes and chicken satay priced at HK$72 each.
All prices have an additional 10 percent service charge.
