A Sunday brunch to please every taste

Updated on January 6 2017

One of the highlights of any weekend is a good Sunday brunch, but finding the perfect spot for a group of friends or a family gathering isn’t always easy. In fact, it can be quite stressful, and it can take all the fun out of what’s meant to be a leisurely and delicious activity.

Allow us to propose a location that will cater to all your needs: Feast, housed inside the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, where you enjoy spectacular views of the Chao Phraya River from inside or on the outdoor terrace. Beyond the scenery, this weekly buffet brunch appeals to diners of different ages and with varying tastes by offering a wide array of edible treats.

You can determine the quality of any buffet based on its seafood selection, and here Feast doesn’t disappoint. Chilled lobster, Alaskan crab legs, oysters, scallops, salmon, king prawns and caviar are all served on ice for diners to pick and choose from, not to mention freshly rolled sushi. What’s more, the restaurant offers unlimited lobster Thermidor, a rich, buttery indulgence for seafood lovers to savour — and not something you’ll easily find on other menus in town.

Those who don’t care for seafood need not worry, as there are plenty of other options to enjoy at Sunday brunch, from European options (pizza and pasta with a variety of sauces) to Japanese (sushi and sashimi made to order). For lovers of Chinese food, dim sum, Peking duck and roast suckling pig are amongst the tasty options you can expect to see every week. Thai, Indian and Western options round out the offerings, meaning you can eat just about anything you like here. In the mood for foie gras? No problem — it’s on the menu, too.

In addition to all this, a number of live cooking stations, serving up a variety of roasted and grilled meats such as lamb, steak and duck, are positioned throughout Feast, offering diners an interactive element to brunch. Last but not least, dessert options include homemade Italian gelato, luxurious chocolate fountains, made-to-order smoothies and more — something to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Feast’s brunch is great for families as well, as each Sunday features kid-friendly entertainers such as face painters and balloon makers. You can also take the family on a boat ride before and after the meal, as complimentary shuttle service is offered across the river between Saphan Taksin BTS Station to the hotel every half-hour.
